A Lenten Prayer of Invitation

Come
Work your hands in the clay of your heart
Shape of this moment
a sheer cavern
for Love
resonant

a bell chamber
whose peal is silence

a great sunlit emptiness
in which questions are answers

and the breath of the Holy
pours through the room of the moment
into the lucent coil of your ear
stay with me

Lent lends itself to the practice of staying with questions.  You may want to read more at https://www.brainpickings.org/2012/06/01/rilke-on-questions/
